Equipment management provides the management and tracking of (clustered) equipment and classes/families of equipment that are required for production and inspection. It ensures the enforcement of predefined and configurable status life cycles (including the E10 model) of equipment and control of physical characteristics. Equipment audit trail functionality enables you to trace any action or event for use and maintenance. Both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance can be performed through an elaborate job model allowing teams of engineers to clock time and consumption of spare parts. Maintenance can be triggered through manufacturing and quality events as well as counters.
Operator training and certification allows you to define skill requirements for production processes and enforcement so that only properly trained operators can execute the production process. Training certificates can be issued to operators with expiration periods. Training plans can be defined per operator.
Enable systematic product/process control by enforcing accurate data collections, usage of only authorized materials, utilization of the right procedures and equipment, certification of operators, and more.
This capability enables the management, control, and tracking of tooling such as masks, probecards, and loadports. You can control the tooling usage as part of shop floor execution. You can maintain tooling for cleaning and repair, and ensure the correct usage of tooling as part of the production process.
The Job Model ensures that maintenance (either scheduled or unscheduled) is executed correctly by guiding the engineer through his tasks and allowing maintenance information to be collected for later analysis. The Parts modules enable the controlled replacement of parts during the maintenance cycle.
