Management of incoming goods
This capability allows you to define incoming inspection requirements including dynamic sampling rules. Inspection results may dictate whether material should move to an inventory location or whether a nonconformance must be created for investigation, triaging, and dispositioning.
Material management
Material quality control utilizes the BOM to ensure the material is used at the correct step. For example, materials can be mounted on equipment and are then consumed by lots processed on the equipment.
Stock time limits management
Enforce time limits – such as freezing time or drying time on stored materials. You can also define expiration periods for materials. This functionality includes production preparation timers such as thawing timers (e.g. for epoxy).
