SEOUL, Korea, Aug. 24, 2009 - Siemens PLM Software, a business unit of the Siemens Industry Automation Division and a leading global provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) software and services, today announced a set of new and enhanced software tools aimed at boosting productivity for the local manufacturing industry. The company simultaneously launched the latest versions of both Teamcenter® software (Ver. 8) which is the world’s most widely used PLM system, and Tecnomatix® software (Ver. 9), its comprehensive suite of digital manufacturing solutions in Korea.
In conjunction with the launch, Siemens PLM Software will host a webcast for current and future customers on Aug. 25 and 26 for the respective products, entitled ‘Innovation through Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) in Economic Meltdown’.
