The Teamcenter 8 release focuses on individual, application and IT productivity, with a wide variety of enhancements throughout the entire portfolio. In a recent study completed by Siemens PLM Software and AMR Research, companies reported write-offs on average of 1.4 percent of annual revenues due to artwork changes. The same study also showed that it takes on average more than five signatures and 22 days to approve a piece of artwork.

On-demand visualization throughout the package and artwork development process aids in collaboration and rapid revision. Additionally, a single source of packaging and artwork knowledge – including drawings, ingredient lists, claims, regulatory marks and brand assets – increases accuracy.
Accurate specifications management is a major driver of product quality, cost and, ultimately, brand equity for today’s CPG and F&B manufacturers. Specifications originate across the organization and express all those attributes necessary for making, producing and shipping a product.
