Ramping up production

Yangzhou Kukai Intelligent Environmental Technology Company (Yangzhou Kukai) is an equipment manufacturer located in China. The company manufactures and markets mask-making machines and runs a production line of its machines to produce masks. With increasing technological advances and low barriers to entry, low-cost competition and customer expectations have been increasing. A large increase in mask production was needed to meet the substantially rising demand for masks. If assets failed, Yangzhou Kukai was forced to reactively assign service engineers to go onsite and manually determine the root cause. Without insight into how machines are performing at customer sites, users faced reduced production efficiency and higher operational costs.

In addition, Yangzhou Kukai did not have optimized processes in place on its own factory floor. The company lacked centralized digital management and had to rely on paperwork orders to manage the production process. Leveraging IoT data to optimize production efficiency

Insights Hub collects real-time mask output data, which replaced the traditional paperwork orders of traditional mask production, reduced errors caused by manual transcription and improved production efficiency.
