Innovation and collaborative, synchronized program management for new programs
Huayu Automotive Systems Co. Ltd. (HASCO), a leading automotive components supplier in China, has selected Siemens’ Teamcenter® software as its digital product lifecycle management (PLM) platform. The new system is expected to help HASCO enhance its design innovation, improve production efficiency and streamline supply chain management.
"Siemens is a leading global provider of PLM solutions and has extensive experience in the automotive industry with impressive achievements in digital manufacturing,” said Mr. Xun Yizhong, the Vice General Manager of HASCO. “We are delighted to be working with Siemens to implement an integrated digital PLM platform and learn more about industry best practices from a global market standpoint to assist us in building our own R&D system and platform for automotive components. We hope this partnership will pave the way for HASCO’s transformation and future development, further increasing HASCO’s competitive edge on a global level.”
Today’s announcement will foster long-term cooperation between HASCO and Siemens PLM Software in applying Siemens’ solutions in the automotive industry. It will enable both parties to contribute to the development of the larger automotive industry in China through the implementation of smart and productive manufacturing strategies. Both parties will focus on building strong manufacturing and production teams, and improve cooperation in areas such as technical research, business development and market research.
“China is one of the fastest growing countries in the world and one of the most important regions we serve,” said Chuck Grindstaff, President and Chief Executive Officer, Siemens PLM Software. “The rapid development of the automotive industry in China is well recognized and extremely exciting. We are very proud to partner with HASCO and to share our global experience within the automotive industry, helping automotive manufacturers grow into world leading companies with strong R&D capabilities.”
