Our in-house test facility in Helmond, the Netherlands, is ISO 17025 and Euro NCAP accredited and has a governmental designation and therefore is the right place to go for all crash testing. Our dedicated team is skilled and trained to follow all latest regulations, such as small-overlap testing and car-to-MPDB testing. The full-scale crash facility with its 150-meter track offers the entire range of testing capabilities necessary to cover all existing and future legal and customer-specific requirements. All testing capabilities besides road furniture testing and ADAS testing are executed indoors, where the environment is fully conditioned. We are strongly supported by simulation tools to facilitate all stages of a vehicle development process: from basic component tests to complete vehicle or system integration and compliance programs.

Besides offering testing capabilities for the automotive branche, our ISO 17025 accredited lab in Helmond, The Netherlands, is also qualified for aviation seat crash testing. We test aircraft seats and flight attendant seats. These tests are performed on our Inverse Crash Sled. We are a recommended lab by various aircraft builders and aviation authorities.
The testing facility with its 160-meter track offers the entire range of testing capabilities necessary to cover all existing and future global legal and customer-specific requirements. We perform all test modes for passenger cars and heavy duty vehicles, both with conventional driveline and electrical/hybrid driveline. On our outdoor proving ground in the extension of our crash hall, we test road furniture like lighting columns and sign posts, for which we are one of the accredited test centres.
Heavy duty vehicles aren’t easy to test as they require not only a lot of space, but also a lot of knowledge. We have over 35 years of experience in heavy duty crash testing and offer not only full scale crash testing for occupant, but sensor testing too. We offer a large range from test mode development, test execution and test analysis. We execute heavy duty vehicle tests up to 40 kilometers per hour, with a maximum gross weight of 22 tons. At our external facility we perform sensor tests like guard-rail tests and roll-over tests.
The inverse crash sled is a simulator designed to test occupant restraint systems, vehicle and aircraft seats, and all other interior vehicle components, either in subcomponent- or full body-in-white-testing. The innovative propulsion system allows the set-up of the most complex tests, such as whiplash testing. The excellent pulse accuracy and repeatability allows our team to work efficiently and accurately. Closed loop acceleration control assures an optimum quality of pulse adaptation with outstanding frequency response and repeatability. With payloads of up to 3.000 kg, we cover the complete range from fully equipped passenger cars, to truck cabins.
Our testing facility is accredited to Euro NCAP protocols and ISO 17025 accredited following European and American standards. This highly advanced testing laboratory is dedicated to both vehicle front structure impact tests with head, upper- and flex leg, as well as impact tests within the vehicle interior. Our dedicated team tests with great accuracy, impact speed, angle and, reproducibility after which they can analyze your test results within minutes following the latest regulations.
