Shop Floor Connect (SFC) for Teamcenter is a complementary application of Teamcenter. SFC for Teamcenter allows the sending of CNC program files from Teamcenter directly to the control of the machine, without the need for local data storage.
SFC for Teamcenter facilitates production personnel access to current and published CNC programs, drawings, 3D models, and other data managed in Teamcenter. More than a traditional DNC system, the connection to the centralized Teamcenter database avoids data duplication and manages revisions to ensure the use of the correct manufacturing data on the shop floor. It also allows new or modified data to be saved in Teamcenter with full access and revision control.
