Teamcenter integration provides intuitive access to product and process data that enables you to work in a collaborative design environment. With Teamcenter software’s Active Workspace, secure access controls and single source of data and process information you have easy access a full range of product lifecycle management (PLM) capabilities that will further optimize your design-through-manufacturing processes.

Automated workflow processes including design release and change

Using the Incremental Data eXchange format (IDX or EDMD) managed in Teamcenter your designers can share and exchange design information during the evolution of a design. As part of the co-design process you can pass incremental data, accept or reject changes, and incorporate change notes or comments into the information being shared.

To ensure designs are ready for a smooth transition into manufacturing, Teamcenter supports visualization and Bill-of-Materials (BOM) management tools that enable you to view, cross-probe and analyze PCB data for fabrication, assembly and test related issues.  The mark-up features create a valuable record of the designs evolution. The BOM compare and grading capabilities ensure the quality and completeness of data submitted to manufacturing, which is especially useful when validating and communicating changes to Manufacturing.
