새로운 프로그램을 위한 혁신적이며, 협업이 가능한 동기화된 프로그램 관리
FOR RELEASE Friday, March 30, 2007
PLANO, Texas - UGS Corp., a leading global provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) software and services, today announced that it has been recognized by CMP Technology’s VARBusiness® magazine as one of North America’s top information technology (IT) vendors in terms of the partnership programs it offers to solution providers that sell its products and services to end users. UGS was certified as a 5-Star Vendor, acknowledging its commitment and strength of its programs for IT integrators, resellers and consultants.
Of the 250+ vendor-program entries reviewed for the past year, only 65 companies received the coveted 5-Star rating in the magazine’s 13th Annual Partner Programs Guide issue.
“Nowadays, the structure of vendor channel programs is too often reduced to a checklist of must-have elements,” said VARBusiness Editor Lawrence M. Walsh. “The VARBusiness 5-Star Partner Program honor recognizes those select vendors, like UGS, who have the programmatic structure to best serve their solution providers in their specific markets segments and technologies. These programs reflect vendors who have built channel programs that have the capacity to execute on key elements for channel success.”
VARBusiness interviewed UGS Channel Partners to determine how well UGS met the needs of its partners. Saratech Inc, a rapidly growing UGS Channel Partner, provides PLM and engineering and management solutions to the aerospace, automotive, medical, electronics and consumer products industries.
“The UGS Channel Partner Program provides us with the enablement resources we need to be effective in today’s competitive environment,” said Saeed Paydarfar, PhD., CEO, Saratech Inc., headquartered in Dana Point, Calif. “UGS understands the importance of using the Channel to reach out to more customers in more ways and more markets then ever before. UGS’ products are practical and cost effective to implement and they add immediate value to the customer’s product development processes. A great channel program with a great suite of products for our customers means a successful revenue-generating program for the Channel. We congratulate UGS on this 5-Star recognition.”
In addition to the 5-Star vendor ranking, Kerry Grimes, vice president, Mid Market and Global Channel Sales, UGS, was named one of VARBusiness’ 25 Channel Executives You Need To Know.
“These awards are particularly gratifying because they recognize the success of our channel program and its momentum over the last year,” said Grimes. “We thank our close working relationships with our partners for enabling this recognition.”
