Founded in 2007, UDSSOFT joined the Siemens Digital Industries Software Solution Provider Partner program in 2008. Through this partnership, UDSSOFT has successfully transformed its business from a product reseller to a digital factory solution provider.
“We work with Siemens closely to help our South China customers set up their digital factories and provide solutions for them,” says Alice Nuer, vice general manager, UDSSOFT. “We assist customers with digitalized product design, simulation and manufacturing. We communicate our customers’ concerns to Siemens and act as the bridge between our customers and Siemens.”
Upon becoming a Siemens Digital Industries Software partner, UDSSOFT streamlined their offerings to be more industry-focused, concentrating on the medical device and energy and utilities industries.
“Siemens provides their partners with industry-specific solution training for medical device, automotive, electronics and more,” says Nuer. “After analyzing our business and collaborating with Siemens, we decided to focus on two industries: medical device and energy and utilities. The benefit of being a Siemens Digital Industries Software Provider partner is that we grow not only the quantity of our customers but also the quality of our solutions.”
Siemens provides UDSSOFT with comprehensive support on sales, pre-sales and post-sales training. For example, UDSSOFT previously had limited experience with and materials for preparing customer proposals. The Siemens pre-sales team helped UDSSOFT review each proposal they submitted to ensure they followed Siemens’ strategies and solutions framework.
“During the solution delivery phase, Siemens assigns a senior engineer to help us with designing the solution blueprint and setting up and configuring products,” says Nuer.
At the Siemens Digital Industries Software Converge Asia-Pacific Executive Partner Forum, Shenzhen Universal Data Soft Co., Ltd. was recognized as the Top Siemens Portfolio Expansion Partner in the Greater China region for 2017.
