With continuous pressure for personalization, major HVAC players embrace modeling techniques from CFD to system simulation to gain competitive advantage, but what could be the next step? In the first part of our webinar, we show how to increase the ROI of existing system models (Simcenter Amesim or Modelica models) by deploying them to the broader stakeholders. The democratization simulation platform provides collaborative management of model parameters and revisions a reality while increasing traceability and compliance. Further, we will demonstrate implementing a dynamic multi-physics model and the control algorithm to support design.

The second part highlights the value of multi-level modeling, starting from a simple approach for early design up to the other end of the spectrum, combining 1D and 3D CFD. We also discuss converting the air conditioning model to a reversible heat pump model and its complete control optimization.
