Transfer path analysis – a guideline to qualifying and quantifying vibro-acoustic transfer paths

By using transfer path analysis, or TPA, manufacturers mathematically evaluate how noise from the excitation source travels to a given receiver location. This methodical approach to vibro-acoustic design enables you to quantify the various sources and their paths, figure out which are important, which contribute to the noise issues and which ones cancel each other out.
