PLANO, Texas– UGS, a leading global provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) software and services, today announced that it will provide NX™ and Teamcenter™ software and services for Perlos Corporation to support its global product development. Perlos is a leading provider of electro-mechanical modules for the telecommunications and healthcare industries.
Today’s announcement marks a continuation and consolidation of the joint work between the two companies which began in 1997.
The agreement creates a framework to deploy NX (UGS’ digital product development software) and Teamcenter (UGS’ product knowledge management and collaboration software) for Perlos. Perlos expects all of its product development centers worldwide to collaborate in the development process using the same PLM system.
