UGS’ premier digital manufacturing event will include a full day of customer presentations on the benefits of digital manufacturing technology, implementation lessons learned and future plans. Scheduled to present are executives and leaders from world-class manufacturing companies including Applied Materials, Ford Motor Company, GE Aviation, General Motors, Rolls-Royce, Tesco Group and more. This year’s keynote session will be hosted by Mr. Kevin Smith, director of Performance Consulting for Harbour Consulting.

There will also be dedicated sessions for a variety of digital manufacturing topics such as part manufacturing, plant layout and performance, quality planning and validation, production management and human performance.
Highlights will include taking PLM to the shop floor with the introduction of a new solution from UGS that integrates Production Management with PLM, along with a special session on emerging technologies that will cover some of the next generation of quality planning and plant floor dimensional validation, tying six sigma processes back to the product definition.
