Liège, Belgium, 19 June 2013 – LMS Samtech, European software developer, specialist in Computer Aided Engineering and advanced Finite Element Analysis technologies, was approved Tax Credit Research (Crédit d’Impôt Recherche) by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research (Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche).
Any subcontracting work of French Industries in R&D for the benefit of LMS Samtech is eligible for Tax Credit Research until December 31, 2014.
LMS Samtech (Belgium) became part of the LMS Group in August 2011. Implementing the same strategy as the Group, LMS Samtech participates in a host of European research projects.
Investments that LMS Samtech devoted to the development of its software and its ability to work in partnership with the most prestigious organizations (industrials, laboratories) led the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research to recognize "the ability of LMS Samtech to conduct R&D projects eligible to Research Tax Credit" until late 2014. After this deadline, new applications may be made to be re-eligible.
In concrete terms, it means that for any French industrial partner, the actual amount charged for R&D projects, engineering services and development may benefit from the Tax Credit Research measure.
“The approval granting allows us to expand the R&D policy led by LMS Samtech, while allowing French industries and laboratories benefiting from the Research Tax Credit measure. We are conducting an ‘Added Value Creation’ oriented policy to leverage French company and Research Center innovation to take over this globalized market with a very competitive positioning,” said Philippe Barabinot, Business Development Director.
