Leuven, Belgium, 16 July 2010 – LMS International announced today that it has acquired 100% of Emmeskay. Emmeskay is recognized as a world-class, global provider of advanced simulation technology solutions for model-based systems engineering (MBSE). Emmeskay has offices in Plymouth, Michigan (USA), Chennai, Tamil Nadu (India) and Nagoya, Aichi (Japan). This acquisition is an important milestone for LMS. It complements LMS’ world-class solutions for intelligent multi-physics systems simulation with new applications and services for model-driven product development, strengthening LMS’ position as a world-leading engineering innovator with a unique portfolio of test and simulation software and related engineering services.

We have worked with Emmeskay on advanced controls engineering, including fuel cell systems development. We see the complementary fit between both companies. The acquisition of Emmeskay by LMS puts LMS in a strong position to further expand its MBSE products and services portfolio.”
