Renishaw will use Tecnomatix digital manufacturing software to better manage its manufacturing systems by shortening the design cycle, removing wasteful processes and reducing the number of file formats required to produce new products. UGS Tecnomatix solutions will enable a paperless production environment that will reduce error and ensure compliance with existing process requirements and new regulations, including lead-free operations guidelines.

Renishaw’s selection of UGS Tecnomatix solutions complements its existing investment in both NX™ software, UGS’ digital product development system and Teamcenter® software, UGS’ digital lifecycle management system. The agreement includes the maintenance of UGS’ eM-Assembly Expert and eM-Execution products – which include solutions for assembly planning, quality management, material management, process verification and traceability.
