Siemens positioned as a Visionary in the 2022 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Global Industrial IoT Platforms

For the second year in a row, Gartner named Siemens a Visionary in its 2022 Magic Quadrant for Global Industrial IoT Platforms.

The 2022 Magic Quadrant for global industrial IoT platforms reveals:

• The strengths and cautions of 16 vendors, including Siemens as a Visionary

• How vendors are evaluated for their “ability to execute” and “completeness of vision”

Gartner noted, “Global IIoT platforms continue to evolve and support IT/OT integration at large scale. CIOs and software engineering leaders seek to use IIoT platforms to drive sustainability, automation, remote operations, and transformation. The best solutions balance technology, partners and domain expertise.”


How Siemens positioned as a Visionary for industrial IoT platforms



In the report, Gartner defines Visionaries as the innovators that drive the market forward by responding to customer demands and offering new opportunities to excel. They also provide differentiated value in targeted IIoT platform elements to meet current and future market needs. This year, only three companies were positioned in the Visionaries Quadrant.
