For those occasions that your simulation requirement exceeds the amount of computing resources that you have at your disposal, we have a large dedicated computing cluster that is available for the use of our customers, providing additional computer processing power for your simulations, as and when you need it.
Accurate data, fast results and controlled development costs. These are the most important aims in crash testing vehicles, components and safety systems. Our safety center in Helmond, the Netherlands, is able to meet these goals for you. We offer fully equipped facilities to perform tests on a whole range of automotive applications, both indoor and outdoor. From vehicle components or even aircraft parts, to passenger cars, to buses and trucks up to a gross weight of 22 tons.
Siemens’ testing facility in Leuven, Belgium has complete capabilities to handle noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) engineering, chassis and powertrain development and hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) testing.
Also in the Detroit, Michigan area, Siemens has a full range of in-house structural test labs and semi-anechoic chambers. A variety of testing services is handled in rooms dedicated to acoustic testing, reverberation with loss measurement capabilities, modal testing and facilities for subjective evaluation of test data.
Siemens is the first in the industry to couple advanced testing solutions on a full vehicle level with in-depth physics simulation to optimize fuel economy.
At the Siemens Vehicle Energy Management (VEM) Test Center, Simcenter Engineering and Consulting services can apply an all-in-one approach to successfully balance and optimize seemingly conflicting requirements for fuel economy and drivability as well as noise, vibration and handling (NVH) comfort for next-generation systems and vehicles.
