HERZLIA, Israel – February 23, 2005 – Tecnomatix Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: TCNO), the driving force in Manufacturing Process Management (MPM), announced today that Extrabit Ltd., the production laboratory division of Nordic wireless technology design leader Elektrobit Group Plc, has selected Tecnomatix eMPower to implement the first stages of a comprehensive MPM environment. Extrabit Ltd. has chosen to implement eMPower for Electronics for product traceability and a paperless production system, among other initiatives.
Extrabit Ltd. will use the eM-Execution product suite to implement complete box, board and component traceability, and eM-Assembly Expert 2.0 to generate programs and documentation for shop floor operations. The result will be more efficient operations and faster turnaround for the company’s contract research and development and testing business.
