Don’t Worry it’s Cool – getting a grip on thermal management

Event | 24 October 2019 8:30 AM
(OIZ) Stadt Zürich Organisation und Informatik | Albisriederstrasse 201 | 8047 Zürich

Mold design and conformal cooling optimization through simulation and control of production process

Conformal cooling optimization

DOWNLOAD PROGRAM

Conformal cooling is employed in industry to rapidly and uniformly cool molds. Traditional manufacturing methods restricted the cooling geometry to straight channels. With additive manufacturing the mold designer can rethink and optimise the cooling configuration of the mold enabling greater control of the thermal cycle reducing the production cycle.

Why you should attend

  • Get an inside look at key methods for mold cooling optimization, the benefits of simulations in this application area and how to apply this knowledge.
  • Find out how this integrated technology and approach gives you greater control
    of your production cycle.
  • Find out how simulation can reduce cycle time.
  • Exchange experiences with our experts and expand your professional network.

Who Should Attend

The event is organized for design engineers, Product Development, Researchers, professors and students, system engineers, material scientists, CTOs and R&D managers with organizations in industries and markets whose products and services depend upon sophisticated and precise control of thermal properties and states.
