Siemens VCO1S Silent ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) uses several algorithms that are designed to limit the adaptive filter’s ability to amplify reference signals. These are exposed as tuning parameters and prevent the noise algorithm from runaway computations. The more aggressive the stability control settings, the less the noise cancellation. This balance between performance and stability are an important part of tuning.
