Prestigious Ritsumeikan University in Japan Completes Major Implementation of Solid Edge® Computer-Aided Design Software System From EDS

PLANO, Texas -- EDS today announced that Ritsumeikan University in Japan has sel ected and successfully implemented its Solid Edge® computer-aided design (CA D) software. The internationally acclaimed university implemented 2,000 seats of Solid Edge i n classrooms and laboratories focused on the school’s mechanical design aut omation curriculum. In addition, more than 15,000 students have been given acces s to Solid Edge throughout the university’s Biwako-Kusatsu campus.
