Innovationen und bereichsübergreifendes, synchronisiertes Programmmanagement
Nancal has served the military smart manufacturing industry for over 15 years providing digitalization planning strategies, for implementing digital solutions and deploying digital management software.
Nancal Technology (Nancal) is a trusted digital transformation partner for manufacturing enterprises in China’s domestic military smart manufacturing industry. The company specializes in providing Teamcenter® software, NX™ software and Opcenter™ software, which are all part of the Xcelerator portfolio, the comprehensive and integrated portfolio of software and services from Siemens Digital Industries Software. Nancal offers its customers consultations, design and planning solutions and the opportunity to rank among the top digitalization companies in China’s push towards advanced manufacturing.
Nancal earned its Expert Partner status by specializing in NX, Teamcenter and Opcenter to help meet customers’ demands in their digital transformation journey. Siemens recognizes partners that exemplify advanced expertise and competency in a Siemens solution or industry. These Expert Partners are validated by customers and Siemens for demonstrating their superior business and technical acumen. Customers in sectors such as aviation, military, power generation and nuclear need experts well versed in advanced manufacturing management systems to help them streamline their research and development (R&D) processes and improve manufacturing operation efficiency. These clients require a partner with a proven track record in high-level consulting and planning capabilities and a comprehensive implementation service capacity. Siemens Expert Partner recognition and endorsements have become cornerstones of Nancal’s marketing, serving as proof of its trustworthiness and service capabilities in securing revenue growth for its customers.
A key issue that Nancal has faced while promoting PLM technologies is the late adoption of digital systems among system operators. Nancal recognized its customers’ lack of understanding in smart manufacturing and digital transformation. Nancal created a specialized services team dedicated to resolving efficiency issues with PLM and computer-aided design (CAD) software to improve customer support.
Nancal partnered with Siemens to create a digitalization blueprint for its joint customer, a large global military industry manufacturer. Together they provided support to integrate sophisticated software such as Teamcenter and Opcenter across all of its manufacturing lines. Using NX and the design and manufacturing management resources available in Teamcenter and Opcenter, including improved 3D model-based definition (MBD) tools, helped streamlined their customers’ R&D process. This resulted in R&D efficiency gains of over 40 percent.
The customer previously relied on offline and 2D CAD for its product design, which resulted in inefficient and unmanageable research and development processes. Nancal’s plan used a data-driven architecture that improved product R&D and manufacturing capabilities. Thanks to this approach, Nancal earned Siemens Global Top Partner Award in 2021 and positive recognition from clients throughout the Chinese domestic markets.
Nancal plans to continue strengthening its services and leverage the Xcelerator portfolio to further expand their capabilities. They also plan to harness comprehensive digital twin technology to support customers to improve R&D, manufacturing and delivery capabilities. The goal is to enable customers to deliver competitive, high-quality products efficiently without raising costs.
Nancal’s partnership with Siemens helps build strong business development opportunities in the domestic Chinese market. Nancal has broadened its international business reach in R&D and contributed to China’s strategic goals for the Made in China 2025 program. “With Siemens Expert Partner competencies and the Xcelerator portfolio, Nancal has established and maintained long-term cooperative relationships with many customers due to its strategic planning and services capabilities,” says Zhao Lan, Nancal’s president.
