Tecnomatix® Press Line Simulation is an innovative software for comprehensive design, programming, analysis and simulation of multi-stage transfer presses. Digitally designing and simulating the complete sheet steel forming process allows all the necessary operations to be prepared in advance, and virtually optimized at an early planning phase. As a consequence, the software provides valuable information for designers and planners, long before the components are actually produced.

Digitally designing and simulating the complete sheet steel forming process allows all the necessary operations to be prepared in advance, and virtually optimized at an early planning phase. As a consequence, the software provides valuable information for designers and planners, long before the components are actually produced.
Tecnomatix software's Press Line Simulation solution enables the design of completely validated dies. You can easily define die kinematics, including translation, rotation, limits and stop values, as well as linear, rotary, filling slider, crank slider, and drag link cams during die design, which can be captured in a die tooling library for re-use. Collisions within the die can be calculated for location and penetration depth, and detailed reports allow for the analysis of collision details.
Tecnomatix Press Line Simulation supports all of the tasks necessary for the successful planning of complex press lines, including loading of press motion curves, die and panel loading, collision checking, throughput and stroke rate optimization, part transfer, and offline programming. Today's complex press systems can only be optimized using simulation that is integrated with available press controllers for the most accurate planning results possible. This helps maximize the utilization of the press system during production.
Tecnomatix Press Line Simulation enables simulation of the complete sheet metal forming process from material flow and die motion to transfer equipment operation and die changeover, helping you to optimize press timing, synchronization and throughput. Available interfaces to Siemens SIMOTION® and other press controllers allow for easy data transfer from the press line simulation model so that the real application can be visualized and the entire press system can be virtually commissioned prior to production.
