Electronic Components Analytics with Cybord

Identify all compromised counterfeit components in your production line

Material traceability PCB assembly
Electronics manufacturers believe they are purchasing components from legitimate suppliers, and thus assume they will have no issues related to component quality and authenticity. However, checks conducted at major EMS companies during production found that around 10% of the components were counterfeit components or compromised in other ways, such as due to issues such as aging, counterfeiting, tampering, mixed reels, reprogramming, or external defects.

The Valor-Cybord Predictive Analytics Solution provides the comprehensive component inspection and material traceability required for SMT traceability. It scans 100% of the components used in production, providing manufacturers with accurate visibility into every single component on every board. With this component traceability solution, you can have full confidence in the source of the materials used in your PCBs.

It obtains the image of each placed component from the SMT pick & place machine camera and uses AI and comparison to the vast Cybord components library to produce traceability data on each component, reel and board. The in-depth reports provide comprehensive authenticity and homogeneity traceability information.

The solution supports SMT models by ASM, Fuji, Universal and Yamaha, and additional models are currently in development. With basic hardware requirements, only a PC or server will be required for installation.

The Valor-Cybord Predictive Analytics Solution is available as an annual subscription. Contact your local representative for pricing information.
