Innovation and collaborative, synchronized program management for new programs
StorageTek will continue to outsource to EDS a portion of its IT infrastructure, application maintenance and support. Additionally basic call center functions o f its global services have been added to the agreement. As a result of the agree ment, approximately 300 StorageTek employees will be offered positions with EDS.
"Extending and expanding the alliance is part of an ongoing evaluation of company assets to maximize efficiencies," said Roy Perry, StorageTek vice president, Global Supply Chain. Our Louisville IT function will continue as an early test function for StorageTek solutions and will continue to serve as a valuable resource for customers," said Perry.
