UGS PLM Solutions’ Executive Vice President of Software Development Highlights Value of Intel’s Latest Processor Technology To PLM Industry

INTEL DEVELOPER FORUM, SAN FRANCISCO -- Chuck Grindstaff, executive vice preside nt of PLM Products for UGS PLM Solutions -- the product lifecycle management (PL M) subsidiary of EDS -- today demonstrated the effectiveness and flexibility of future Intel Xeon processors with 64-bit extension technology to the PLM industr y by manipulating several highly complex digital models while simultaneously int eroperating with 32-bit applications. Grindstaff made the presentation as part of the keynote address delivered by Int el CEO Craig R. Barrett at today’s opening of the annual Intel Developer Fo rum, Spring 2004, in San Francisco.
