PLANO, Texas– UGS Corp., a leading global provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) software and services, today announced that Retired Air Force Brigadier General Charles “Chuck” Yeager will deliver the 2005 Solid Edge User Summit and Executive Symposium keynote. The 2005 Solid Edge User Summit and Executive Symposium is scheduled for Sept. 28-30 at the Hilton Netherlands Plaza hotel in Cincinnati.
Best known for piloting the first supersonic aircraft flight and for flying the Bell X-1A at more than twice the speed of sound, Yeager is expected to describe for Summit attendees how he pushed the limits of technology to seek speed, performance and precision even when many said it could not be done.
