D-Cubed geometric constraint solvers increase design productivity in most major CAD systems. Solving constraints enables protection of certain design aspects while permitting rapid modifications by changing parameter values or dragging geometry into permitted positions. This automatically ensures that design intent is captured and preserved through the project lifecycle. D-Cubed 2D DCM enables 2D sketching applications, such as parametric floor plans. D-Cubed 3D DCM enables parametric part and assembly design and the configuration of pipe/cable networks.
AEC Model Validation and Verification
KineoWorks validates collision-free motion in complex 3D environments. Applications in the energy industry include evaluating human accessibility in the built environment and computing collision-free paths for equipment insertion and extraction in plant maintenance.
For collision detection analysis, Parasolid provides interference checking functionality. D-Cubed Collision Detection Manager and Kineo Collision Detector provide an additional range of collision and clearance computations for specialist applications, such as kinematics studies and point clouds.

Parasolid supports other formats with advanced modeling capabilities, such as tolerance to imported models, together with data translators and the Parasolid Bodyshop data repair tool. The JT Open toolkit enables software vendors to rapidly facilitate 3D data visualization and collaboration with JT - the ISO standard format for viewing and sharing 3D digital product information. AEC software vendors who already support the JT format in some of their applications include Autodesk and Bentley.
