Syncrofit 13
Syncrofit 13 Helps to Optimize the Design of Fastened Parts
Fastened part sizing is now an integral part of the fastener layout process in Syncrofit. The fastener layout capability provides the key information necessary for sizing parts based on fastener design rules to drive the geometric definition of the part. Implementing this new approach for managing fastener data to drive and subsequently update part sizing from the earliest stage of the design process leads to productivity improvements, optimized designs and a reduction in engineering change orders.
Syncrofit 13 Provides a Powerful New Approach for Progressive Assembly State Planning and Condition of Supply
The Airframe Manufacturing Environment (AME) module is now supported on NX, enabling the digital definition of progressive assembly states to illustrate the condition of assembly at various stages in the build process. AME creates, manages and communicates digital representations of the multiple manufacturing states required for assembling airframes. Engineers can now easily consume engineering requirements into progressive assembly states to support process planning activities and deliver clear and concise condition of supply digital packages for airframe components and assemblies. This improves productivity in the manufacturing process by eliminating manual methods for consuming engineering data, interpretation issues and unnecessary communication cycles, as well as providing full traceability of hole and fastener requirements.
Syncrofit 13 Integrates with Teamcenter to Manage Manufacturing Datasets
Syncrofit 13 provides advanced integration capabilities with Teamcenter to automatically associate and manage data for automated manufacturing assembly processes. This eliminates time consuming and error-prone manual processes for associating manufacturing data to the engineering data in Teamcenter and reduces the chance of outdated manufacturing data being used and the associated scrap and rework that could result.
