Siemens invites you to a Realizing the Digital Enterprise seminar

Join us for a seminar on April 26, 2018!

Siemens Digital Factory and the Oakland University Industrial and Systems Engineering Department invite you to see how your company can realize the promises the Digital Enterprise and Industry 4.0 offer to innovative companies embrace it.

This seminar addresses tools and methods companies can deploy to overcome challenges they face in developing, manufacturing, and servicing their products. After an opening Digital Enterprise Overview, attendees will rotate through five different sessions described below:

  1. Accelerated Product Introduction
    • Plan, Define, Develop & Validate the Product and Manufacturing / Launch processes
  2. Predictive Engineering
    • Simulation driven development and validation
  3. Closed-Loop / Model-Based Quality
    • Comprehensive management of data, quality documentation & schedules to support quality directives
  4. Production Design and Automation
    • Live simulations using Digital Twin of conveyor with Siemens hardware
  5. IIoT / Data Analytics
    • Live Dashboards using IIoT data from conveyor

Oakland University and Siemens are jointly hosting this seminar to discuss these topics and to demonstrate how Digital Factory solutions are addressing changing trends, and customer expectations, while leveraging data analytics to tie physical product performance back to the virtual representation / Digital Twin.
