Okino Computer Graphics, Inc. is an industry leader in the development and deployment of 3D data re-purposing software that allows professional 3D software users to intelligently and accurately convert/view/render/modify 3D data and assets between most major CAD, DCC and VisSim software packages. Okino software is used the world over by all major Fortune 1000 companies, the top defense contractors, the top automotive manufacturers, and thousands of production studios, 3D content creation, game development, CAD, engineering and product design companies (as broken out in the Okino customer user list at www.okino.com/conv/users.htm).
The "JT Open" import/export add-on modules for Okino software allow geometry, hierarchy and materials (assembly data) to be imported and exported to native .JT disk-based MCAD files (otherwise called "DirectModel" files). The use of the official "JT Open" toolkit ensures consistency of JT files across the enterprise and throughout the PLM supplier chain.

Common uses of Okino software would be to import/export JT files from such popular programs as 3ds Max, Maya, Softimage, Lightwave, Cinema-4D, MultiGen's Creator (or any OpenFlight program), Microsoft DirectX applications, Adobe-enabled U3D applications (such as Adobe Acrobat), and dozens of other industry trend setting solutions. Okino software would also allow all major 3D CAD file formats to be cleanly and economically converted out to JT, such as from ACIS, AutoCAD DWG, IGES, ProE, Parasolid, Solid Edge, SolidWorks, STEP, VDA and more. Our solutions have been in use for so long, and by so many users, that they simply work 'out of the box' and in a very ideal, robust and error free manner.
Full online documentation about the Okino JT converters can be found here, as well as the "Feature Benefits for JT Users" list:

Using the Okino JT solution, users will now be able to bring together a wide range of 3D data file sources into one cohesive work environment, add optional materials/lights/cameras/textures, add complex animation data (such as via PolyTrans-for-MAX/Maya/XSI/Lightwave/Cinema-4D), reduce the data size by 80-95%, optimize the parts count and hierarchy, then optionally re-export to top quality 3D file formats and WEB streaming formats. This end-to-end CAD repurposing concept and pipeline has been pioneered by Okino over the last 2 decades.

"JT" is the predominant and lightweight 3D visualization file format for PLM. It is in production use by thousands of companies worldwide. As such, Okino was quick to seek out and integrate the JT file format as a key and integral 3D converter in our line of PolyTrans & NuGraf software. Our existing users were PLM companies, and hence the addition of JT was an obvious choice for these Okino customers. The JT Open Toolkit is based on years of stable software development and usage, and hence it was a delight to integrate into our software tool chain.
Our JT import/expot conversion pipeline has been actively requested by our larger Fortune 1000 customers such as Ford, GM, Boeing and others, for whom we can now offer a connection from the enterprise PLM market to our more entrenched CAD, DCC and VisSim markets.
