Genesis Program

About Genesis

Siemens PLM Software has long understood the potential of PLM for business and pioneered many of the product development, management and collaboration technologies that launched the industry. Today, with 5.5 million licensed seats of our technology in use, Siemens PLM Software products manage or create more than 40 percent of the world's 3D data.

Siemens PLM Software is committed to creating the solutions our customers will need to stay ahead of competitors in a PLM-empowered future. We devote approximately 20 percent of our annual revenues to R&D, a high percentage for the industry. We believe sustained R&D spending is integral to maintaining and growing value in our software.

Our people enable our success and fuel our continued growth. We are a team, collaborating with clients to transform their processes and fully leverage PLM. Our team encourages creativity, welcomes fresh thinking and focuses on growth, so our people, our business and our clients can achieve full potential.

As part of our ongoing efforts to bring the best and brightest into our company, we have established the Genesis training program for new and recent college graduates. Genesis will take 12 new and recent graduates and train them over the course of eight weeks to be able to deploy Siemens PLM Software applications at customer client sites. These new graduates will have a background in Computer Science or Engineering (with a strong focus on applications), and be open to travel.

Genesis Program members will work with customers to provide implementation and customization of Siemens suite of PLM products. They will work on application development to provide customer defined environments relative to Teamcenter® software. Daily activities will involve interfacing with customers to document requirements, as well as developing functional specifications, application design specifications and code applications in C++ and Java using proprietary library toolkits based on developed design documentation.
