Siemens PLM Software NX CAM Wire EDM provides a complete solution for programming 2-4 axis Wire EDM machines. A wide range of wire operations are available, including multi-pass profiling, wire reversing and area removal. The module also provides post-processor support for major Wire EDM machine manufacturers such as AGIE, Charmilles and Mitsubishi.

External and Internal Trim cuts automatically include tabs that keep the workpiece or scrap from falling until the final cutoff pass is made. No Core cuts are available to prevent scrap pieces from falling in the machine.

NX Wire EDM supports 4 axis conic output on Agie and Mitsubishi controls. Special corner handling is offered, including English D Loops. Machine specific data is included, for streamlined post processing.
