Guy Langley is senior vice president and managing director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) for Siemens PLM Software, a business unit of the Siemens Industry Automation Division. Based at Siemens PLM Software’s European headquarters in Camberley, U.K., Langley directs an organization that covers 40 countries and is responsible for all aspects of Siemens PLM Software’s business in the region, including Sales, Sales Support and Services Delivery.
Langley joined Siemens PLM Software in 2005 as Vice President for Business Development for EMEA and was appointed Managing Director of U.K. Operations the following year. In that position he was responsible for the sales, marketing, delivery and customer support operations of Siemens PLM Software throughout the U.K.
Prior to joining Siemens PLM Software, Guy enjoyed successful Sales and Operational Management roles with IBM, J.D. Edwards and PeopleSoft. Guy led the J.D. Edwards U.K. Sales organization, before being appointed Managing Director of the organization’s Nordic Region. He gained further leadership experience in Germany and, following the acquisition of J.D. Edwards by PeopleSoft in 2003, as Managing Director for Spain & Portugal and Vice President, Product Sales, EMEA.
Guy, who has three sons and a daughter, resides in the U.K. His interests outside of work include cricket, rugby and motor sports, walking, music and wine.
