Teamcenter Express - Version 4
Teamcenter Express Version 4 is the next step in the evolution of Siemens PLM Software’s collaborative product data management (cPDM) solution for small- and mid-size manufacturing organizations.
Version 4 builds on its proven delivery of a single source of data for design-through-manufacturing for SMBs by adding an embedded project and program management option and a new client option targeted at shop floor users. Teamcenter Express now includes targeted support for these key roles and further improves the ability of SMBs to introduce new products to market faster and with best-in-class quality, while optimizing the use of their resources.
Version 4 also includes several new usability enhancements that speed the user’s learning and adoption curve and improve the efficiency of managing everyday tasks and processes for design-through-manufacturing, from the user’s desktop and across projects and programs.
Teamcenter Express Version 4 is built on and delivers complete scalability to the unified architecture of Teamcenter 2007.

Project and Program Management
- Optional program management module is tightly integrated with the existing document management, project based security and workflow capabilities
- Improves collaboration and control by managing multiple projects and their related tasks, together with resource allocation and the ability to import and export project plans to and from Microsoft Project

Shop Floor Viewer client
- Optional, streamlined web client specifically targeted at shop floor use cases

- Improves collaboration between design and manufacturing, resulting in less errors and rework in the manufacturing process
