A new, Advanced Assembly Planning product on top of our Teamcenter-based process authoring tool, Manufacturing Process Planner, further improves collaboration for planning product build strategies – whether over multiple plants or within a single plant. Our enterprise bill-of-process (BOP) capability simplifies this complexity so that you have full traceability of products and processes across multiple plants.
In addition, with enhancements in our Process Simulate Human tool, now you can measure metabolic energy consumption and fatigue analysis of manual operations as part of your integrated PLM environment.
Efficient assembly planning leads to smarter decisions and fewer surprises during production. When you are able to efficiently balance workload between stations you increase throughput, reduce bottlenecks and ensure your automated systems and personnel are able to execute tasks within your production takt time.
With the latest line balancing application, you can balance your production lines using simplified drag-and-drop capabilities, as well as validate manufacturing constraints and precedence.
Validating and optimizing manufacturing systems before implementation drives productivity, increasing efficiencies to levels unachievable by deploying and continuously improving. With the latest addition to our Plant Simulation solution, you have the power to create value stream maps of your production systems from a new library of components which are tied to the discrete-event analysis engine.
Now, iterative process analysis is executed virtually on your value stream. This delivers unprecedented results leading to a more complete manufacturing operation definition, the elimination of non-value added activity on the factory floor, and shorter ramp-up time-to-volume production.
Manufacturers are looking to further automate manufacturing because complicated products are driving the need for the flexibility of automated systems. With the latest enhancements in our Process Simulate solution, we provide functional improvements through a new Calibration application, Virtual Commissioning performance improvements and better integration with Siemens SIMIT software.

Now you can visualize feature variation through a finite element analysis (FEA) mesh to easily identify where your major contributors to dimensional variation exist.
In addition, updates to our Dimensional Planning and Validation solution enable system administrators to see the status of global production quality data capture in one, easily configurable web interface
