Though we do business globally, we're committed to involvement locally. Wherever Siemens PLM Software has a corporate presence, we work to have a local impact. We aid programs focused on positively influencing youth, enriching families, promoting literacy, raising community achievement and fostering equality.

While Siemens PLM Software contributes financial resources, hardware and software to community-based organizations, volunteerism is the centerpiece of our local efforts. The "Siemens PLM Software Volunteers in Action" program promotes volunteerism among Siemens PLM Software employees, cultivating personal and professional growth. Siemens PLM Software employees in the US have banded together in support of the United Way, and our individual offices around the world adopt deserving hometown causes.

We believe PLM can build much more than bottom lines. In an increasingly global marketplace, Siemens PLM Software sees PLM's potential to strengthen emerging economies and ultimately improve the quality of life for people in developing nations.

A cornerstone of our Global Opportunities in PLM (GO PLM) initiative, Siemens PLM Software's regional productivity programs foster manufacturing technology environments that grow regional economies. In the US, the program has sponsored initiatives to tap underutilized talents in rural Maine, Idaho, Alabama and Wisconsin. Globally, we've awarded grants to recipients in Uganda, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia and other developing markets.

Siemens PLM Software's Youth Development Programs develop advanced manufacturing career opportunities for at-risk youth and displaced workers through its Youth Development Programs across the country.

Professional Affiliations

Siemens PLM Software is a leader in active partnerships with Professional Affiliations. Our goal is to facilitate participation by Siemens PLM Software teammates in organizations that add value through Industry, Government, Academic and Community Leadership. Siemens PLM Software teammates currently serve on over 125 active Professional Affiliations, primarily at an executive or board level. We prioritize recommendations in this area quarterly to maximize Siemens PLM Software’s Global presence with local participation and ownership.
