How We Help

Wherever Siemens PLM Software has a corporate presence, we work to have a local impact. We aid programs focused on positively influencing youth, enriching families, promoting literacy, raising community achievement and fostering equality.

Siemens PLM Software contributes financial resources, hardware and software to community-based organizations. However, volunteerism is the centerpiece of our local efforts. The "Siemens PLM Software Volunteers in Action" program promotes volunteerism among Siemens PLM Software employees, cultivating personal and professional growth.

Where We've Helped

Nationally, Siemens PLM Software employees have banded together in support of the United Way. US-based staff committed more than $112,000 to 16 United Way offices in 2004, which was distributed among locally-based charities.

Regionally, our offices adopt deserving hometown causes. For example, our Long Beach, California staff donates countless hours to the area's Habitat for Humanity chapter. Siemens PLM Software team members in our Detroit office spend time with students at the Bishop Foley Catholic High School.

Our Cincinnati office has even organized a community affairs council to support community activities and manage fundraising programs. This group has lent a hand to:

  • SEM Haven Health and Residential Care Center
  • Southern Ohio TopSoccer
  • Teen Response of Cincinnati

Our employees help St. Louis neighborhoods in conjunction with the:

  • All Nations Resource Center
  • Community Action Agency of St. Louis County
  • Father Dunne's Newsboys' Home
  • Manufacturing Training Alliance
  • New Morning Star Missionary
  • St. Vincent Home for Children

To nurture the next generation of engineers, we support not only educational programs for students in engineering and mathematics, but also initiatives to attract talented young people to the field.
