Key Version 3 enhancements include:

• Comprehensive Microsoft Office integration
  • Interact with the Teamcenter Express database directly while working in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Teamcenter Task Pane added to Microsoft Word and Excel enables easy browsing and searching on the Teamcenter Express database
  • Teamcenter Express workflow tasks can be viewed and processed directly from Microsoft Outlook
• Improved view and markup from the web client enables more users to conduct everyday tasks and processes including query, view, markup and print type operations from the easily deployed Teamcenter Express web client
• New attribute mapping tools enables capture of files and their associated document properties into Teamcenter Express
• Extended printing and plotting capabilities includes ability to offload these tasks to a server and the addition of watermarks

New certifications for Teamcenter Express Version 3 include Microsoft Small Business Server, Vista client and Internet Explorer 7.
