This giveaway (“Giveaway”) is open to persons 18 years of age and older. Limit one entry per person. This promotion is not open to employees of Siemens Product Lifecycle Management Inc., parent, its subsidiaries, affiliates, resellers, advertising and promotional agencies or members of their immediate families.

To enter the Giveaway, access the registration form at http://www.siemens.com/plm/dare and complete the registration form by filling out your full name, company name, address, telephone number (including area and/or country code) and e-mail address; or send a postcard containing this same information and the words “Dare to Compare” to: Siemens PLM Software, Mail Code 225, 13690 Riverport Drive, Maryland Heights, MO 63043, USA.

All entries via registration site or postcard must be posted before 5:00 pm CST on June 30, 2008 You may only enter the Giveaway once. Entrants may not enter with multiple email and/or multiple identities nor may entrants use any other device or artifice to obtain more than the maximum number of entries. Any entrant who attempts to participate with multiple email and/or multiple identities or uses any device or artifice to obtain more than the maximum number of entries may be disqualified. No mechanical reproductions or facsimile entries will be accepted. Altered, mutilated or illegible entries will be disqualified. Siemens PLM Software is not responsible for lost, late, delayed, mutilated, illegible, or misdirected entries nor for electronic errors.

The prize is one of 50 L.S. Starrett calipers. Shipping costs, including international shipments, will be provided by Siemens PLM Software.

Winners will be selected within one week of Contest End Date in a random drawing. Drawing will be conducted by Siemens PLM Software, whose decision is final on all matters relating to this sweepstakes. The winner need not be present at the drawing to win. Odds of winning are dependent upon the total number of entries received. Limit one prize per person.

Winners will be notified by e-mail within ninety-six (96) hours of the drawing date. The winners will have 4 days to respond to the notification with a shipping address. If the winners have not responded by the end of the 4th day, a new winner will be selected by random drawing. Selection of winners will continue until a selected winner responds within 4 days. Winner is responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes. All prizes will be awarded and are non-transferable. No cash or other substitutions are allowed except by Siemens PLM Software’s sole election due to prize unavailability.

By submitting an entry for this Giveaway, participants agree to abide by these official rules and any decision Siemens PLM Software makes regarding this promotion. Siemens PLM Software reserves the right to disqualify from the Giveaway, and to prosecute to the fullest extent permitted by law, any participant or winner who, in Siemens PLM Software’s reasonable suspicion, tampers with the Siemens PLM Software website, the entry process, intentionally submits more than a single entry or mechanical entries, violates these official rules, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

By entering the Giveaway, the entrant (a) agrees to the decisions of Siemens PLM Software shall be final in all respects; (b) consents to the use of winners names and likenesses and any statements, quotes or testimonials provided by the winners for advertising and publicity purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law; (c) and agrees to hold harmless and fully indemnify and release Siemens PLM Software, its subsidiaries, and affiliates, and their directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability, damages, or causes of action (however named or described) caused by or arising out of entrant’s participation or acceptance, possession or use of any prize.

If for any reason this Giveaway is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which, in the sole opinion of Siemens PLM Software, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Giveaway, Siemens PLM Software  reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Giveaway and conduct a random drawing to award the prizes using all eligible non-suspect entries received as of the termination date. If the Giveaway is terminated due to tampering or technical difficulties prior to its expiration date, notice will be posted at www.ugs.com/giveaways.

The promotion and the rights and obligations of Siemens PLM Software  and participants will be governed and controlled by the laws of the State of Texas, applicable to contracts made and preformed therein without reference to the applicable choice of law provisions. All actions, proceedings, and litigation relating hereto will be instituted and prosecuted solely within the State of Texas, Collin County. The parties consent to the jurisdiction of the state courts of Texas and federal court located within the state and county with respect to any action, dispute, or other matter pertaining to or arising out of this promotion.
