PGM Key Capabilities

Offset Profiles

Automatically creates valid 2D offset profiles on points, lines, circles, ellipses, splines, general parametric curves, and offset curves. Trims zero length offset edges, zero radius offset arcs, overlapping and intersecting offset edges. Cap gaps in the offset profile by extending the adjacent edges or by inserting new edges.

Dimensions and constraints can be solved to profiles when PGM is integrated with a 2D DCM-based sketcher.

Manages Valid Offset Profiles With 2D DCM

Dimensions and constraints can be added to any combination of geometries in the base and offset profiles. The base profile can drive the offset profile and vice versa. PGM automatically handles changes in offset profiles, such as edge reversals and ensures that dimensioning schemes are preserved even when edges are trimmed and constraints need to be reallocated.
