This example begins with the addition of a coincidence constraint to connect the free endpoints of two splines. The connecting point is then dragged - note there is no smooth connectivity between the splines.
Next, the effect of constraining the splines to have equal tangent direction and magnitude is demonstrated.
This is followed by the display of the spline curvature, illustrating that the curvature is not equal at their endpoints. An equal curvature constraint is applied and then the value of the second derivative (and hence the curvature) is set to be zero.
Finally, various dimensions values are interactively modified, illustrating the tight integration between these powerful spline constraints and the variational sketching environment.
