The Part Planner application is a key element of the Tecnomatix Part Manufacturing Solution from Siemens PLM Software.

The application enables the creation of process plans, integrating machining operations and data from CAM, managing and associating tools, fixtures and other resources to the process plan, and creating flexible reports to enable efficient part manufacture.

The Part Planner links the tasks of the manufacturing engineer, NC programmer, tool designer in a managed environment. As a key benefit it provides controlled access to the right part manufacturing data, at the right time, for the right people, and supports the transfer of configured data to the shop floor.
