NX provides tailored design environments for routed subsystems, both electrical and mechanical, that are far more productive than general-purpose tools. For electrical routing designers can use commands for placing wiring, conduit, and raceways, taking advantage of standard component libraries for electrical systems. Mechanical routing adds design tools and libraries for tubing, piping, and steelwork. Routed systems models are fully associative to NX assemblies to facilitate design changes. Automated Bill of Material and bend reports provide information for subsystem manufacturing.
