
Aric Newhouse is the senior vice president for government relations and policy at the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM). In addition to serving as the NAM’s lead government relations staff member, he is responsible for the development and implementation of the NAM’s broad policy agenda.

Andy Jones is General Manager of the automotive business unit at Applied Manufacturing Technologies (AMT) and is responsible for managing engineering operations and sales. He has been with AMT since 1997 and has developed a very diverse automation background during his acceleration through the company, including extensive experience in process development, simulation and off-line programming, hands-on robot programming and calibration, and engineering management. Andy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Lake Superior State University, and is currently pursuing his MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.

Sal Spada is research director for discrete automation at the ARC Advisory Group, and has over 15 years of direct experience in motion control system design as a software developer, project manager, and product marketing manager. He has been with ARC since 1997. Prior to ARC, he worked with EG&G Torque Systems, Boston Digital Corporation, and (most recently) Schneider Automation, all in the areas of CNC and General Motion Control Systems.

Jeff Wallace has worked in the machine tool industry for over 15 years, providing advanced technical support focused on the aerospace application area. He has been engineering manager with DMG/Mori Seiki for more than 3 years and is responsible for the DMG/Mori Seiki aerospace technology group. Jeff is also part of the DMG/Mori Seiki “Disruptive Technology” group, which has been in place for over 5 years, and has a global focus on new and innovative processes for the aerospace, medical and energy markets with focus on the “super alloys” being utilized in today’s advanced designs.

Eric Grajo is a Senior Staff Engineer at Honda of America Manufacturing, Inc. (HAM) in Marysville, OH. He is Manager of the North American PLM Advancement Center at HAM's New Model Division, responsible for the development and deployment of Honda's PLM solutions at its North American region manufacturing operations. Previously, he was in Corporate Planning's management staff for Honda's North American Production Engineering Strategy Committee supporting its Body Assembly function. Prior to that, he led Corporate Planning's Industrial Engineering team providing manufacturing optimization and discrete event simulation analysis services to Honda's North American plants.

Mike Lyle is an Engineering Coordinator at Honda of America Manufacturing, Inc. (HAM) in Marysville, OH. He is project lead for the Product Structure pillar of Business Development Services in the North American PLM Advancement Center at HAM's New Model Division. Previously, he worked as a Product Spec engineer in the Assembly Department of Honda of Canada Manufacturing (HCM) in Alliston, Ontario. Prior to coming to HAM, he was part of the local PLM team at HCM, leading business process consensus and solution development activities for PLM's Visual BOM (Bill of Materials) solution.

Eberhard Beck is head of control techniques at INDEX-Werke GmbH. He started at INDEX-Werke GmbH in 1984 and he has been working in software development since 1992 in different departments. He has been head of control techniques since 1996. Eberhard Beck studied Elektrotechnik at the FHTE in Esslingen in Germany and also has Dipl.-Wirt Ing. (FH) in Production Engineering.

Ulrich Braendle is International Product Manager at Speroni SpA, based in the Stuttgart showroom, Germany. Ulrich is responsible for domestic and international sales, and has more than 8-years of experience in the field of presetter and measuring machines. Whether it is the standalone presetter or the fully integrated solution, Ulrich is familiar with all the possibilities a modern presetter and measuring machine can deliver today to make it part of the customer's complete manufacturing solution.

Marcelo G. Gracci is Supervisor of Mechanical Engineering at ThyssenKrupp System Engineering in Brazil, and joined the company in 2007. Prior to ThyssenKrupp, he worked at Volkswagen in the area of Body-in-White on projects such as Golf, Fox, Polo, and others. He holds a degree in Technology of Production Process, specializing in Management Production in the Automotive Industry.

Markus Aschenbrenner is the CEO of Zollner Electronic Inc., the US subsidiary of Zollner Elektronik AG. In addition to his US responsibility, he is the Director of business development for Zollner’s Electronic Business Unit. He has more than 18-years of experience in the electronic manufacturing services area. Prior to his business development activities, he was responsible for a complete EMS manufacturing center within Zollner Elektronik AG.

Tim Egloff is a marketing manager for the Tecnomatix brand within Siemens PLM Software. He’s responsible for the Teamcenter Manufacturing Process Management solution as well as the Quality Management solution set. He has over 20 years of experience in the enterprise software market – supporting multiple business process domains in the automotive marketplace. Over the last 10 years Tim has focused on the digital manufacturing in a variety of roles, including business process consulting and marketing.

Markus Erlmann is a Marketing Manager for the Tecnomatix product suite from Siemens PLM Software, and has been with the company for the past 12 years. Prior to Marketing, Markus served as Senior Product Manager responsible for a number of different Tecnomatix products and solutions. Markus has spent over 15 years in the area of Digital Manufacturing.

Tom Hoffman is the Director of Tecnomatix Product Marketing for Siemens PLM Software, Inc., and has been with the company for the past 9 years. Prior to Siemens, he served as Senior Manufacturing Engineering at General Motors Corporation, responsible for math-based applications utilized within the Body-in-White manufacturing group.

Matthias Lenord joined Siemens PLM Software in August 2009. He is responsible for cross-business unit projects to extend the value proposition for Siemens customers based on synergies between Siemens AG and Siemens PLM Software. In addition to this, he leads the Innovation Management initiative by identifying future opportunities and developing them to provide high value for the PLM market. As part of this initiative, he is currently focusing on a new solution to enable mechatronics system development from the concept to the final product.

Jeff Miller is the Americas Marketing Director for Digital Manufacturing solutions at Siemens PLM Software, Inc. and joined the company in 2007. Prior to his current role at Siemens, he served as a Senior Marketing Manager for the Tecnomatix suite of Digital Manufacturing tools. Miller brings more than 20 years of manufacturing software experience to his role. After serving honorably for eight years in the U.S. Navy and Naval Reserve, he received his education in electro/mechanical engineering. He was one of the original founders of Advanced CAM Technologies, and held major positions in sales, marketing, business development, and applications engineering at organizations like CAD Solutions, PADS Software, and Innoveda.

Vynce Paradise is Director of Product Marketing, Part Manufacturing Solutions, at Siemens PLM Software. Vynce is the corporate product marketing lead for software applications that relate to the part manufacturing process. Vynce has over 20 years of experience in the engineering software industry, and previously worked as a professionally qualified engineer in the United Kingdom.

Mike Rouman is responsible for product marketing of Assembly Planning and Validation (APV) and Plant Design and Optimization (PDO) within the Tecnomatix Digital Manufacturing Brand of the Siemens PLM Software. Mike has many years of experience in digital manufacturing, including process planning, data management, robotic and human simulation, as well as discrete-event simulation and analysis.
