Raj Khoshoo is the senior vice president of Strategy Initiatives for Siemens PLM Software, a business unit of the Siemens Industry Automation division. In this role he is responsible for product portfolio management and Lean initiatives, focused on achieving sustainable business improvements. In addition, he is working on laying the PLM foundation for integrated “sustainability” and “design for environment.”
Prior to his current assignment, Raj was focused on the area of “Design to Cost” and SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) where he has been recognized by several industry forums for introducing innovative solutions in the area of supply chain and PLM integration. He also specializes in consulting with select customers to transform various aspects of their product development and has managed several advanced PLM driven transformation engagements.
Raj has over thirty years experience with Siemens PLM Software in a variety of senior management positions in strategic planning, product development (PDM, CAM, and SRM), product management, consulting, business development and strategic marketing.
Prior to his PLM career, Raj worked for over ten years in the Automotive and Machine Tool industries in the area of product development and manufacturing engineering. He is responsible for several innovations in the integration of electronics and hydraulics as related to machine tools.
Raj has served on the Board of PLM World and MESA and co-conducts the MBA course on “Enterprises of the Future” at Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon. Raj holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and MS in Computer Science.
