Siemens PLM Software Community Relations Program supports regional initiatives that bridge the digital divide and develop relationships that prepare individuals to lead productive and fulfilling lives. Siemens PLM Software teammates nurture a spirit of innovation and serve as catalysts for positive change in our Global Communities. Siemens PLM Software teammates work with local citizens and nonprofit organizations to design technology solutions that address specific problems. We focus on greatest needs by supporting programs that are important to our customers and teammates in their communities.

Approved Grant Applications are channeled directly to Siemens PLM Software teammates' communities providing positive change, empowerment and local ownership.

Applying for a Siemens PLM Software Community Relations Grant:

All grant applications must be made in writing. Grant seekers are advised to submit a GO PLM Community Relations Grant Application and a GO PLM Grant score card in which they will rate their request on various categories like request frequency, use of Siemens products, PR opportunities help us to offer grant next year.

When submitting an application, the following items must be included:

• A description of the organization e.g.: Name of the Institution, Address, Contact Name and Contact Information, mission of the organization.
• Documented plans describing how the grant will be used at the organization and the community program for which the software/hardware/cash will be used.
• Any special factors that should be considered in evaluating your application and the programs' probability of success etc.
• All Grant Applications are evaluated on a competitive basis and must be approved by the Regional Siemens PLM Software Executive and GO PLM Corporate Executive.
• The grants are for Seed Funding.
• An Executive Summary of all grants is maintained on the Global Community Relations website with Quarterly Reports provided for the Executive Team.
• An Annual Report will be prepared to the Corporate Executive Committee regarding all donations made by the company in the fiscal year beginning 1 November.

Grants are not available to/for:

• Individuals
• Profit Organizations
• Organizations that do not have a tax-exempt status
• Organizations whose goals are not compatible with our Corporate Principles as set out in the Business Conduct Guidelines.
• Political parties, campaigns or causes
• Courtesy Advertising
• Religious or fraternal groups whose projects primarily benefit their members or adherents
• Volunteer Emergency Squads
• Fund-raising events
• Annual Meetings
• Capital Campaigns
• Film and Video Projects
• Program Advertising
• Travel
• Programs Outside Siemens PLM Software Community
